Rathdowney is a small town 20 kilometres south of Beaudesert, and has an annual Heritage Festival.   Like most small towns it is a wonderful place filled with warm and open hearted people.

I had a most enjoyable day wandering around and meeting the locals - both young and old alike, and also looking at all that Rathdowney had to offer.  Hopefully I'll be back next year to see some more.
